Question: When will i get billed?

Answer:

We run our billing on a monthly basis, usually the first business day of each month.

Question: What is a text message / SMS?

Answer:

SMS stands for Short Message Service, and is a short text message that can be sent to and from Cell phones. SMS messaging is also referred to as text messaging or mobile messaging.

Question: What advantages are there to Text Messaging?

Answer:

Text messages are short and provide an affordable way to keep your customers informed of the latest offers, news about your business and can even be used to send coupons.

Most people carry a Cell phone with them wherever they go. Unlike standard email and traditional phone calls SMS messaging can reach people more often and instantly.

Question: Do I need to sign a contract?

Answer:

We only offer month to month plans which you may cancel at any time before renewal of service. There are no monthly or annual contracts to sign.

Question: How many characters are included with your SMS/Text messaging plans?

Answer:

A standard message is limited to 160 Characters. This includes letters, numbers, spaces and punctuations. This is the industry standard.

Question: Do you guarantee message delivery?

Answer:

No, because this service depends so much on 3rd party phone carriers and cell tower signals we cannot guarantee delivery.

Question: Do I pay for text messages that my recipients do not receive?

Answer:

Yes, each message that is sent will go towards your total as we are also charged every time a message goes through the Gateway.

Question: What is a Short Code?

Answer:

A shortcode is a 5 or 6 digit number that the subscriber sends their text message to in order to subscribe or interact with the SMS system. Like TV voting where a viewer texts the word “vote” to 54545 – the 54545 number is the “shortcode”.

Shortcodes have to be approved and accepted by each mobile company for it to work on their network. The process takes weeks or months and is very expensive.

Question: What is a Long Code?

Answer:

A “longcode” is just a regular local phone number. Longcodes are very inexpensive and it belongs to only you. That means you can use any keyword you want and as many as you want and NEVER PAY MORE.

Question: Who owns my data?

Answer:

Your list belongs to you and you alone. We will never contact the people on your lists, nor will we do anything else with your data without your consent.

Question: Do you sell my subscriber lists?

Answer:

We do not rent, sell or share contact information or subscriber lists to any 3rd parties.
